Johanna is a designer working between Reykjavík and Leipzig, running an international practice that spans product design, spatial installations, and strategic consultancy. Her studio collaborates with institutions, brands, and cultural organizations to bring rigorous thinking and material sensitivity to projects across all scales, ranging from everyday objects and exhibitions to long-term design strategies.
Her highly acclaimed work has been exhibited at prestigious venues including the Design Museum London, the V&A, and Villa Noailles. Recognized as one of the creative leaders expanding how design is practiced today by Wallpaper* magazine, Johanna has also received recent nominations for the Icelandic Design Award 2025, the Dutch Design Awards Emerging Talent Award 2025, and the Ralph Saltzman Prize 2025 at the Design Museum London.
