The Prague International Design Festival DesignBlok, is the largest showcase of design and fashion in Central and Eastern Europe

The six-day festival opens with Professionals’ Day, a day dedicated to industry experts, and continues with a five-day showcase for the general public, presenting new work from more than three hundred carefully selected creators, studios, and major brands.
Through its curated exhibitions, the festival responds to current social issues, highlights the work of both emerging and established designers, and provides a creative, commercial, and business-focused platform where designers and businesses meet with industry professionals, suppliers, and target customers.
The exhibitions are complemented by a rich accompanying program of lectures and discussions, industry gatherings, fashion shows, and other special events that offer space for networking and mutual inspiration.

Our Ten Principles

  1. A selective curation of exhibitors ensuring a high standard across the entire festival.
  2. Connecting the design scene with industry to foster the creation of high-quality design and new products.
  3. Developing an international business platform that delivers domestic and global design innovations from prominent brands.
  4. The continuous development and promotion of Czech and Central European design.
  5. The internationalization of design through exhibitions abroad, inviting distinguished guests, and organizing trade missions.
  6. Actively seeking out and supporting young creative talent through platforms such as Diploma Selection, Talent Cards, and School Today.
  7. Supporting local production and the development of traditional crafts.
  8. An ecological approach to both design production and exhibition practices.
  9. Exploring the role of design in society and translating broader intellectual themes directly into creative work.
  10. Public education through lectures, discussion platforms, and programs tailored for students and children.

We reach beyond the festival boundaries, working together to support, connect, and advance design
